Composting for Organizations
We collect organic waste from businesses and institutions around the Greater Philadelphia Region.

Here’s How it Works:
1. Discovery Call
You tell us your needs, and we help you make a plan.
Let’s find out if composting works for your situation. We can give guidance on how many bins and collections you’ll need based on your existing trash volume, with the help of our compost hauling experience. You let us know your budget, where and when you need collection, and we’ll figure out how we can best add your location(s) to our routes.
2. Equipment Delivery
We bring you the bins, you start filling.
We’ll bring a batch of 32- or 64-gallon bins, and place them at key points so you can begin diverting food waste. We are happy to bring signage and deliver in-person training to help your operations team get on board with the new system.
3. Materials Collection
We visit regularly to empty and re-line your bins.
Say goodbye to all that food waste. Weekly collections are standard, but if that’s not enough, we’ll we adjust to the frequency you need. If you prefer, we will line the bins with fresh compostable bags that are specially designed to break down with the rest of the compost. We bring 100% of the organics we collect to be composted locally at Linvilla Orchards.

Cut down general waste
Organic waste tends to be some of the heaviest stuff in the trash bin. In many cases, diverting your organics can lead to significantly decreased general waste.

When organic materials get lumped in with the rest of the trash, they decompose anaerobically (without oxygen), creating noxious methane and other foul by-products. Keeping them in the compost helps decrease overall odor levels, especially those from the trash bin.
